Medigenomix Expands Cooperation with Wildlife Parks in the US
Medigenomix started cooperation with Jungle Eyes, a Non-Profit-Organization USDA Licensed Exhibitors Parks & Wildlife Rehabilitator's located in Willis, Texas (Montgomery County).
One of Jungle Eyes goals is the conservation of species that are endangered of extinction. Those species could be rescued by genetic controlled breeding programs. Medigenomix therefore checks the genetic background of the mated animals to avoid an inbreeding effect on these programs.
In rare avian species with birds staying together a lifetime, it is necessary to determine the gender of the birds for a successful breeding. As a specialist of sex determination Medigenomix provides these tests for its new partner.
